Romane d\u00e9cide d\u2019adapter pour le cin\u00e9ma le livre de Cl\u00e9mentine Autain consacr\u00e9 \u00e0 sa m\u00e8re d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9e quand elle avait 12 ans, parce qu\u2019il lui a rappel\u00e9 sa propre histoire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On y apprend que Romane a \u00e9t\u00e9 abandonn\u00e9e par sa m\u00e8re quand elle avait neuf mois et qu\u2019elle fut \u00e9lev\u00e9e par son p\u00e8re. \u00a0Sa m\u00e8re est n\u00e9e en 1950 \u00e0 Sa\u00efgon dans l\u2019Indochine Fran\u00e7aise. Lorsqu\u2019elle a sollicit\u00e9 un certificat de naissance aupr\u00e8s des autorit\u00e9s fran\u00e7aises, on lui a r\u00e9pondu qu\u2019\u00a0\u00ab\u00a0elle n\u2019existait pas sur les registres de l\u2019\u00e9tat civil\u00a0\u00bb. \u00a0Elle a enfant\u00e9 de Romane tr\u00e8s jeune mais ce n\u2019\u00e9tait pas sa premi\u00e8re grossesse. Romane d\u00e9couvrira au cours de la r\u00e9alisation du film que sa m\u00e8re avait eue deux jumeaux d\u2019une pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente aventure, eux aussi abandonn\u00e9s. Romane n\u2019aura de cesse de se r\u00e9concilier avec son pass\u00e9, pour s\u2019assurer que ses propres enfants soient pleinement \u00e9panouis. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Une des faiblesses de Dites-Lui Que Je L\u2019Aime<\/em> provient de son concept. Les trajectoires des deux m\u00e8res sont tellement imbriqu\u00e9es que le spectateur s\u2019interroge parfois si ce qui est dit se rattache \u00e0 l\u2019une ou l\u2019autre famille, Autin ou Bohringer ?
