Le film raconte la vie de quatre jeunes filles, Alma, Erika, Angelika et Lenka, \u00e0 quatre \u00e9poques diff\u00e9rentes, du d\u00e9but du XXe si\u00e8cle \u00e0 nos jours. Elles ont pour point commun d\u2019habiter la m\u00eame ferme, au Nord de l\u2019Allemagne. Le mode de narration choisi par la cin\u00e9aste repose sur des allers-retours entre les diff\u00e9rentes \u00e9poques, entrela\u00e7ant les s\u00e9quences temporelles. Il oblige le spectateur \u00e0 une certaine concentration. Si ce dernier accepte d\u2019\u00eatre patient, il d\u00e9couvre peu \u00e0 peu les ficelles qui relient les personnages en un seul r\u00e9cit, o\u00f9 les disparus comptent autant que les vivants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
La force de Sound of Falling<\/em> r\u00e9side dans son parti-pris de naturalisme rappelant les romans de Zola. Certaines sc\u00e8nes sont crues et violentes, et la finitude de la condition humaine y est omnipr\u00e9sente. La sc\u00e8ne o\u00f9 la famille s\u2019organise pour faire r\u00e9former l\u2019oncle Fritz et ansi lui \u00e9viter d\u2019aller au front fait partie des plus poignantes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ma note =
