Didi et Amy sont deux masseuses au Blue Sun Palace, un salon de massage dans le quartier chinois du Queens. Un client ta\u00efwanais a recours aux services de Didi de fa\u00e7on r\u00e9currente. Immigr\u00e9 aux Etats-Unis car cribl\u00e9 de dettes, en laissant m\u00e8re, femme et enfant sur place, il a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 une relation secr\u00e8te plus que commerciale avec la jeune femme. Mais Didi est la victime collat\u00e9rale d\u2019un cambriolage qui tourne mal. Amy et le Ta\u00efwanais vont alors pouvoir se rencontrer et se d\u00e9couvrir dans le deuil de leur amie commune.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Il faut \u00eatre patient pour appr\u00e9cier ce film. Les personnages sont r\u00e9ellement pr\u00e9sent\u00e9s au temps 40min, apr\u00e8s une longue p\u00e9riode o\u00f9 le spectateur peut l\u00e9gitimement s\u2019interroger sur le sens du film. C\u2019est d\u2019ailleurs le moment o\u00f9 le titre du film appara\u00eet sur \u00e9cran noir. Enfin, pourrait-on dire. Ceux qui ont tenus jusque l\u00e0 pourront appr\u00e9cier le traitement de l\u2019idylle naissante entre Amy et le Ta\u00efwanais, fond\u00e9e sur des ressorts impossibles, o\u00f9 la mis\u00e8re sentimentale s\u2019ajoute \u00e0 la mis\u00e8re \u00e9conomique. Le film est \u00e0 r\u00e9server \u00e0 un public de cin\u00e9philes, mais n\u2019est pas inint\u00e9ressant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
