L\u2019intrigue a pour th\u00e8me les paris clandestins sur la loterie \u00e0 Buenos Aires en Argentine. Les clans des bookmakers sont en comp\u00e9tition les uns contre les autres, d\u00e9fendant \u00ab\u00a0leur\u00a0\u00bb quartier \u00e0 tout prix, souvent par la violence. Un de ces clans est form\u00e9 par la famille Felpeto, qui se maintient en activit\u00e9 d\u2019une g\u00e9n\u00e9ration \u00e0 l\u2019autre. Lorsque le parrain (p\u00e8re) dispara\u00eet, c\u2019est sa fille qui prend la rel\u00e8ve. Il ne lui faut pas juste enregistrer les paris, il faut aussi organiser le convoyage de fonds, la corruption, et accepter de composer avec les descentes de police. La fille a l\u2019occasion de s\u2019approprier les cha\u00eenons manquants de l\u2019histoire de son p\u00e8re gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des vid\u00e9os familiales conserv\u00e9es par un voisin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Les images sont brutes peu travaill\u00e9es, le son \u00e9galement et donc le tout exige d\u2019\u00eatre particuli\u00e8rement concentr\u00e9. D\u2019autant que le film int\u00e8gre des sc\u00e8nes de la vie courante tr\u00e8s ordinaires, qui n\u2019enrichissent pas directement l\u2019intrigue. Je n\u2019ai pas appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 ce parti pris de mise en sc\u00e8ne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
