Fuyuko, la quarantaine, est correctrice ind\u00e9pendante. Elle m\u00e8ne une existence solitaire et minutieusement r\u00e9gl\u00e9e. Elle vit avec l\u2019impression de n\u2019avoir jamais su parler aux hommes, sans doute \u00e0 cause d\u2019une blessure d\u2019adolescence. Pour oser entamer la conversation, elle \u00e9prouve le besoin d\u2019\u00eatre alcoolis\u00e9e. Autour d\u2019elle, ses coll\u00e8gues et amies \u00e9voquent l\u2019usure de leur couple, leurs aventures extraconjugales ou celles de leurs conjoints, tandis qu\u2019elle ne r\u00eave que d\u2019un grand amour sinc\u00e8re. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sa routine se fissure lorsqu\u2019elle rencontre Mitsutsuka, un professeur de physique au lyc\u00e9e, aussi r\u00e9serv\u00e9 qu\u2019elle. Elle lui confie sa fascination pour la physique de la lumi\u00e8re ; il lui explique la th\u00e9orie soustractive des couleurs, la diffusion, l\u2019absorption, pourquoi le ciel est bleu et ce qu\u2019est un photon. Chaque \u00e9change la calme, la rassure, lui redonne confiance. Peu \u00e0 peu, ils \u00e9tendent leurs discussions \u00e0 leurs go\u00fbts respectifs, leurs histoires familiales. Est-ce l\u00e0 enfin le Grand Amour ? Aucun des deux n\u2019ose pourtant se d\u00e9clarer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
De Toutes Les Nuits, Les Amants<\/em> compose ainsi une romance d\u00e9licate. Le rythme, tr\u00e8s marqu\u00e9 par la tradition cin\u00e9matographique japonaise, pourra en d\u00e9router certains. Le film semble un peu long, et certaines sc\u00e8nes paraissent superflues.
