Une vie manifeste<\/em> est un long-m\u00e9trage documentaire consacr\u00e9 \u00e0 Mich\u00e8le Firk, aspirante r\u00e9alisatrice et militante r\u00e9volutionnaire, qui n\u2019a cess\u00e9 de d\u00e9fendre la justice et la libert\u00e9. Marqu\u00e9e d\u00e8s l\u2019enfance par la Shoah, elle \u00e9chappe \u00e0 la rafle du Vel d\u2019Hiv. Lorsqu\u2019elle int\u00e8gre l\u2019IDHEC, le statut des femmes dans le cin\u00e9ma demeure extr\u00eamement limit\u00e9 : seules les sp\u00e9cialisations de monteuse ou de sc\u00e9nariste leur sont r\u00e9ellement ouvertes. Son r\u00eave de devenir r\u00e9alisatrice lui est alors refus\u00e9. Elle poursuivra pourtant ce d\u00e9sir avec d\u00e9termination, bien qu\u2019aucune trace d\u2019un film r\u00e9alis\u00e9 par elle ne subsiste aujourd\u2019hui.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Mich\u00e8le Firk participe \u00e0 tous les grands combats politiques et sociaux de son temps : la guerre d\u2019Alg\u00e9rie, Mai 68, mais aussi les luttes internationales, de l\u2019Espagne franquiste au Cuba de Fidel Castroet de Che Guevara, jusqu\u2019au Guatemala. Elle meurt \u00e0 seulement 31 ans. Toute sa vie, elle aura fait du cin\u00e9ma l\u2019instrument de ses engagements. \u00c0 ce titre, Mich\u00e8le Firk m\u00e9ritait pleinement cet hommage rendu par ses pairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n La r\u00e9alisation alterne une voix off contextualisante et des citations tir\u00e9es de ses \u00e9crits.
