Depuis la disparition brutale de son \u00e9pouse, Antoine Balestro, artiste peintre, s\u2019enfonce dans le silence et l\u2019alcool. Incapable de retrouver l\u2019inspiration, il inqui\u00e8te Armand, son galeriste, dont les efforts pour le remettre au travail restent vains. Une nuit de 1928, pouss\u00e9 par le d\u00e9sespoir, Antoine se rend chez une voyante pour entendre une derni\u00e8re fois la voix de sa femme. Mais derri\u00e8re le rideau, Suzanne alias Claudia, une jeune foraine manipulatrice improvise la s\u00e9ance contre la promesse d\u2019un billet. Elle r\u00e9veille les blessures de l\u2019\u00e2me d\u2019Antoine, qui devient son client r\u00e9gulier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Voyant rena\u00eetre le go\u00fbt de peindre chez son ami, Armand encourage<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Suzanne \u00e0 poursuivre la supercherie. Il promet de l\u2019alimenter d\u2019informations sur Antoine et sa femme, pour augmenter la cr\u00e9dibilit\u00e9 des s\u00e9ances de spiritisme. Suzanne se prend \u00e0 son propre jeu tandis que elle d\u00e9veloppe une authentique affection pour son client.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Le sc\u00e9nario fait intervenir trois personnages aux histoires nou\u00e9es par le deuil d\u2019un quatri\u00e8me. Par sa trame, il conviendrait admirablement \u00e0 une pi\u00e8ce de th\u00e9\u00e2tre moderne. La conduite de l\u2019intrigue est efficace, servie par des allers-retours entre pr\u00e9sent et pass\u00e9 qui ne nuisent pas \u00e0 la compr\u00e9hension. La mise \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cran du Paris d\u2019entre deux guerres a des airs d\u2019Amelie Poulain. Au bilan, la V\u00e9nus Electrique se r\u00e9v\u00e8le comme une tr\u00e8s bonne com\u00e9die, bien distrayante. J\u2019ai pass\u00e9 un bon moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
