Elle y d\u00e9couvre un andro\u00efde inerte et lui raconte chaque nuit des histoires de la Chine ancienne, r\u00e9veillant peu \u00e0 peu ses \u00e9motions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le mode de narration choisi par le r\u00e9alisateur est un pr\u00e9texte pour donner une coh\u00e9rence (relative) \u00e0 une s\u00e9rie de six nouvelles qui se d\u00e9roulent chacune \u00e0 des p\u00e9riodes diff\u00e9rentes de l\u2019histoire de la Chine, sur une plage d\u2019un si\u00e8cle.\u00a0Une des singularit\u00e9s du film est que le vecteur de dialogue entre la narratrice et l\u2019andro\u00efde est le cin\u00e9matographe. <em>R\u00e9surrection<\/em> regorge donc d\u2019allusions aux \u0153uvres fondatrices de l\u2019histoire du cin\u00e9ma, de M\u00e9li\u00e8s aux pionniers du cin\u00e9ma muet, tandis qu\u2019il m\u00e9lange les genres du polar, des films de vampires, de la science-fiction.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les nombreux d\u00e9parts de spectateurs avant la fin de la projection, pourtant des cin\u00e9philes avertis \u00e0 Cannes, indiquent que Bi Gan a peut-\u00eatre oubli\u00e9 de se pr\u00e9occuper du ressenti de son public.
